In addition to being Heidi’s husband, Ryan is also a former national champion collegiate football coach, a licensed unbeatable mind coach, a certified quantum living coach, a certified Kokoro yoga instructor, an oxygen advantage breathwork instructor, and mindfulness and meditation teacher. Today he shares his journey towards personal growth and healing

  • How Ryan’s journey with depression impacted his life, marriage, and mindset. He explains how he approached his healing by setting a routine and giving himself a purpose which in turn has enabled him to help others. Ryan talks about his book- a culmination of all his experiences, his depression, and why he wanted to create a new narrative about shifting your mindset. (7:44)
  • One aspect of the book is this principle of ‘Try it On.’ Ryan explains what this means and how you can embody it in your healing journey. (12:55)
  • Ryan shares a great example of what limiting beliefs look like and embodying the ‘Try it On’ mindset. The first approach to healing yourself is building that awareness around your current belief structure. (16:30)
  • Sometimes we are really stuck in our own ways. With this in mind, Ryan shares some advice for what to do when you are just starting your growth and healing journey (19:46)
  • One of the basic goals you can do right now is to create a space within yourself that feels safe to do this type of healing work and to have compassion for wherever you currently are in your journey. (24:50)
  • What’s on the top of his list right now? Ryan explains why he is always wanting to come at life with a “to be” list rather than a “to do” list. (27:34)
