Today’s reading is from 2 John1-2

“The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;

"For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever." 

Take a few moments to meditate on these verses. 

Now, take some time to think about and answer these questions:

1. How does John identify himself? As "the elder".

2. For the sake of what is he writing? For the truth's sake.
