I this episode of Finding His Voice King Josiah tries to redeem the people in the eyes of the Lord. He destroys all groves and graven images that were dedicated to other gods. But the Lord has already vowed that he would remove Judah from the land. He gave them respite until Josiah slept with his fathers, and then Babylon came in and took all the people away into slavery.
At the Feast of Tabernacles, Jesus goes to the temples to teach. Some of the people of Jerusalem said, is this not He whom they seek to kill? He speaks boldly and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know that this is indeed the very Christ?
