Oh snap! Episode 2 is done! How about that? Two weeks going strong!!
I think I undersold this episode in the beginning, because listening back, I actually really enjoyed it! It’s clearly not as high of quality as I would prefer, but I suspect it will be a good place to look back at in a couple years to see how far we’ve come.
Something I mention in this podcast is The Accountability Group (TAG). It’s a work out group chat I started with my friends (you will meet all of them eventually, I’m sure). It’s essentially a group chat where we talk about our goals for fitness and health. It’s had such a monumental effect on my fitness journey.
I was already working out and running semi-consistently, but I wasn’t dedicated like I wanted to be. Brian and I started talking and I mentioned I was thinking of starting a group chat where we could hold each other accountable to our fitness goals. He gave me the motivation and encouragement to start the group chat.
We didn’t really dive into the specifics of TAG, but I think it would be worth a dedicated podcast to. Maybe in the new year I’ll organize a little group podcast with the TAG members. I bet it would be a lot of fun.
If you don’t have a work out group you should try to find one! Or start working out on your own, that’s even better!!
Oh! I did get my 10 miles in this week btw. I also cracked the story on my new screenplay and am going to finish the outline and start the first draft here shortly.
