Hello all and welcome to the second episode of SD350' New Energy Podcast!
This podcast was created to bring new conversations and a New Energy to helping address our climate crisis and the challenges we all face as a society. To do that we focus on interviewing engaging and forward thinking members of the climate justice and activism movement to discuss their story and take on what's happening and where we are going.
Our guest today is Noah Harris the Transportation Policy Advocate at the Climate Action Campaign (https://www.climateactioncampaign.org/), Noah conducts transportation policy research and advocates for a more connected, equitable, and sustainable San Diego transportation system.
The focus of our talk was to continue in the spirit of the Transportation Justice Forum that SD350 hosted on Nov 12th, which focused on the causes and impacts of Transportation injustice, both structural and systemic and was a powerful call to action and recognized that transportation is a civil rights issue.
