This week's parsha, Veyeira, covers a lot of ground. Abraham hosts the angels, Isaac is born to super old parents, Hagar is exiled, and Lot's daughters bore children from their father (ick).

In this week's parsha, God tells Abram (later Avraham) to leave his homeland for an unrevealed land. God will make him a great nation and bless him as well as give the land to his descendants. Michael and Briyah talk about her recent medicine journey with acacia and what it means to be a blessing.

We also discuss clutter and how it affects our lives.

Michael and Briyah discuss the first parsha of the Torah from Budapest and Montreal, respectively. Wow. There’s a lot to unpack here. Adam and Eve getting banished from the Garden of Eden. Sibling murder. Noah’s ark. It seems the world has been corrupt ever since. Speaking of, we remember the horrors of October 7, three years later.

And what does any of this have to do with The Four Agreements?

Did you miss us? After a very long hiatus, we have returned and are ready to go! It's been quite a season (or a few) and we wish to use this space to continue to learn and grow together, with love. Please spread the word that the pod is back on!

We are back with an exciting new episode about the mishkan, or tabernacle that the Jews were instructed to prepare so they could have a place to dwell with Hashem.

While I may sound mean or harsh towards my father, it is not your place to judge. We all have soul contacts here on this planet and some of them might be confusing to you. That’s ok!

This episode sees the continuation of Joseph being scapegoated by his family. A story as old as time itself. But Joseph takes the high road, as many scapegoats do and shows mercy on his lying siblings. He would still do anything for them because that's the mensch he is. Bless his heart.

This episode had some technical difficulties and I'm honestly not sure if it will continue. Not feeling the love after nearly 4 years.

Hello! Apologies for the unexplained absence. What began as internet difficulties in Cyprus turned into a needed break. We even had some father daughter therapy sessions. But our rabbi therapist told us there was nothing he could do...we were screwed. OK, that's not really what happened, but we fired him, and decided to work out our issues here, with all of you.

My beloved purple car was destroyed by a drunk driver. My Sydney Jewish community is mourning the horrific murder of 15 innocent lives cut short. Rob Reiner and his wife killed by their own son. More violence. Tragedy. It goes on and on...

BUT, it's chanukah and I have a new nephew, born TODAY to my brother, who is a bipolar narcissist. What a life!

It's also Miketz, where we talk about Joseph being a chosen one. I, Briyah Ariel Paley, am a chosen one.

It's a new year and also the lunar eclipse and energy is MOVING! This episode has some tense moments and you may feel uncomfortable at times. We certainly did. But that's OK. Growth requires change and change is not easy or comfortable.
