The group enters the Umbral Corruption and convenes at Death’s Draught, learning from barkeep Hellsa about the outbreak of Necrotic Beasts and how Obols protect sojourners from possession. They negotiate with graverobber Vespera for obols and are accosted by Jacaunt and his hounds. They arrive at Widowsberg to investigate the Corpseweaver Abomination, talking to locals and preparing for an upcoming fight.
