The Talking Type 1 Podcast: Living with Type 1 Diabetes for 47 Years - Paul Pritchard In this week’s episode I speak to Paul Pritchard. Paul has been living with type 1 diabetes for 47 years and is an active member of the type 1 community having been part of many forums and is now active within the Diabetes online community on Instagram.
It was great to have a conversation with Paul and understand his views and thoughts on living with type 1 diabetes for nearly 50 years.
In my chat with Paul we talk about:
measuring your diabetes in levels rather than years
the important part having access to psychological support when diagnosed played in him managing his type 1 diabetes
changes to his diabetes management over the years
his thoughts and views on the rise of diabetes technology and how diabetes technology continues to help him manage type 1 diabetes
his advice to those of us living with type 1 diabetes
Paul was a great guest to talk to and I learnt a lot from his valuable insight and hope you do too. Paul can be found on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/phdepritchard/?igshid=av3wtkmiuacr
