2 Peter 3:1-4 is the text for this sermon entitled, "Where Is This Coming He Promised?"
The crowd around the cross scoffed and mocked our Lord, and said, “Let him save himself, he saved others.” Here is an interesting observation about life. When people do not understand, or are not in control, or are fearful, they often resort to scoffing, mocking, and making fun of the situation.
Yet, those who scoff about the Lord's Second Coming:
1. Do not have wholesome thinking
2. Do NOT have the capacity or desire to recall
3. Are not aware they are in the last days
4. Do not believe in the promises of God
5. Have a mundane, secular view of life
