In this episode we sit in the midst of a very sad and heavy story. The consequences of David's sin become very evident and his sons take on his worst traits. Where do we go when our shame becomes too much to bear? The answer is to the cross. We're reminded that in the midst of David's failures as king one of his descendants would one day come and be the perfect king we all need - Jesus Christ.
