David's sin has caused a great deal of pain in his life. In this story, it is interesting to see that David, rather than escaping a difficult circumstance, allows it to continue because he believes that God is doing something through it. Though believers experience great trouble on this earth, it is good to remember that our God is working through all those things for our good and His glory.
