The early months of being a new dad can be confusing and discouraging! Fathers, you have a special role to play during the first few months. No you can't breastfeed, but you can support your wife while the feeding burden falls on her. Support your wife, help her get sleep (sleep deprivation is real).

Hold that baby, change its diaper, give it a bath, feed with the bottle when that time comes.

Expect NO SEX for a while after birth. Don't expect frequent sex during the early years. Your wife is tired - I promise you this is a season, it will pass.

Finally, take pictures and videos. Enjoy the phase, it goes by quickly.
