7 Husbands, in the same way, treat (live with) your wives with consideration (wisdom) as a delicate (weaker) vessel, and with honor (one with value) as fellow heirs of the gracious gift of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered. 

Hindered = road block, sharply cuts off the desired result… making the activity tedious.

Prayer gets tedious when you're not getting results. And maybe you've checked your whole life and everything seems good but you have forgot to check. How well you honor your wife.

Consideration 

knowledge gleaned from first-hand (personal) experience, connecting theory to application; "application-knowledge," gained in (by) a direct relationship

Yesterdays podcast, I started out by saying in order for this to work, you must be a man of God. And today is much the same, and that you need to understand your wife with wisdom, but not to manipulate her, but in fact, to show wisdom, to make her more like Christ. 

Weaker - frail and unimpressive physically and morally…helpless.

Look, let's be honest as men there are times where our wives can get on our nerves simply because they seem helpless. We tell them what to do. We tell them how to solve the problem we tell them steps they can take and they just don't seem to follow through. And that's when we need wisdom and we need to treat them with love, regardless because they are weaker.
