Chances are, if you're a kid of the 90s, you've been blasted in the face with a spin art-style title screen, followed by a smattering of unheard of, untested animated shorts straight from Hanna-Barberra studios. What a Cartoon! Show is an anthology of shorts unlike anything else at the time, and it was the riskiest, yet most rewarding Cartoon Network took a chance on to propel its content to the forefront of network programming - all thanks to Fred Siebert and a rag-tag team of animators hungry to get their names known.

In the 2nd episode of Checkered Childhood BDubs examines the messy, wild origins of how this show came to be, along with showcasing a few iconic pilots that went to series years later, along with others that didn't quite get off the ground.
