Today Alex discusses her experience dealing with a medical emergency on behalf of her husband. She shares how the customer service was almost non-existent as she negotiates with medical staff to get her husband the help he desperately needed and should have gotten. In this case the consequences of the appalling communication from hospital staff and leaders, could have cost her husband his life. Both Alex's intense worry for her husband, together with her years of honing her communication skills, meant in the end, Alex was able to get a successful outcome.
