Forgiveness is a redemptive blessing, paid for on our behalf and in our name when “Jesus Christ bore our sins in his own body on the tree,” opening the way for every person to receive “the gift of righteousness” (1 Peter 2:24; Rom 5:17)
Sin condemns us. We need God's forgiveness. Christ was made sin with our sins and bore the punishment that we deserved so that we will never be condemned but can have His righteousness imputed to us. So we can declare “Lord, you took my sins to the cross. Your blood was shed for their remission. I am restored to dignity with God.”
Instead of living with condemnation because of sin, discover that God has a plan to transfer to your account the righteousness and dignity of the greatest Life ever lived - that of Jesus Christ.
