Traveling on, meander down the path the light is now gone
Hidden in the clutches of my palm
Thinking I should turn back, I move on
Down below the belly of the beast is soon to blow
The sands of time remain from so long ago
The chaos that I reap is what I sow

I'm thinking over in my head what to do
Haven't a clue
There's plenty to be thankful for
Instead I choose to sing the blues
