Life can be a rat race. Especially for people like us who are doers, movers, and shakers. We have jobs, projects, husbands/wives, kids, dreams, aspirations, and our days can seem like we're constantly going from one place to the next just being pulled in all different directions at once.
I know for high achievers and go-getters like myself, we DO NOT STOP. Slowing down is for lazy people, not for us- if we slow down or stop, we won't get to our goal.
I've had to really do some self-reflection in the past and ask myself what the root cause of why I feel I can't take a moment for myself. There were internal reasons that were far deeper than just the urgency to succeed. And I'm willing to bet it's the same for you.
