20. 5A State Volleyball Championships

This weekend Judie and I drove up to beautiful Coeur d'Alene Idaho for the 5A State Volleyball Championship. It was an EPIC weekend of competition and lessons observed watching our girls and other teams play on such an ELITE level.  Our girls lost the first match setting them in the loser bracket forces them to go the LONG way around to the final championship game with Thunder Ridge. It was an epic experience watching the girls battle back to the top.

Show Highlights:

  • Losing and then pushing through adversity to come all the way back to the final championship game
  • Teach your kids to work hard for a dream.
  • Teach them that what they do off the court or when no one is looking makes a huge difference. It is a true measure of your character of who you are.
  • Teach them to work through failure.
  • Teach them to lose gracefully.
  • Teach them to celebrate their wins while being graceful winners
  • Teach them to be grateful to the coaches and men and women in their lives.
