In the small abandoned town of Centralia PA, uncontrolled mine fires have been raging beneath the surface for over 50 years causing its residents to flee. Smoke and gas escape from cracks exploding in the earth. This post-apocalyptic scene created a haven for curious adventurers and aspiring artists. A nearly one mile long desserted stretch of highway, Rt. 61, became a canvas for these adventurers and artists, Gen and Maria among them, and soon came to be known as 'Graffiti Highway.' Join us as we tell you the town's story and take a trip down memory lane.
