AJ joined FDU as the Strength & Conditioning Coach in September 2016.

AJ was the graduate assistant at FDU from 2015-16, and previously spent one year interning in the Cumberland University Strength and Conditioning Facility. AJ served a short stint at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, working with their Olympic Sports. Additionally, he interned with the University of South Carolina football during the summer of 2016. 

While in college, he worked two and a half years as Student Intern in the Grand View Viking Strength and Conditioning Department. AJ interned at the University of Kentucky for the 2015 summer, working with the Olympic Sports.

AJ is a graduate of Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. His undergraduate degree is in Health and Wellness Promotion with a focus in Kinesiology. He also earned Masters Degree from FDU in Sports Administration.

At Grand View he was apart of 3 NAIA Team National Championships, earning a spot as a 2015 NAIA Daktronics Academic All-American.
