This week we hear directly from the podsters with their audition horror stories, as well as two quick interviews from industry professionals and lots of commentary from Tene along the way! Let’s welcome BC's Jak Barradell and NYC's Danny Hammond who have managed to book their biggest film/tv projects to date during a pandemic and have the craziest journeys to getting there! Jak shares how he booked Apple TV’s latest “Schmigadoon” and Danny doesn’t hold back with the madness that is a Broadway dance call! As actors, we put up with a lot; auditioning is a full time unpaid job and you're not always going to be happy with. However; it is so important to level up here and develop a healthy relationship with auditioning or job interviewing in general for that matter. Tene's advice is to always try and learn something specific from each audition and trust that they all play a role in our journeys to booking those jobs. You need to find the space to laugh and not take yourself so seriously...especially when your voice cracks or you shit the bed altogether...quite literally! Tene kicks things off with her most impactful audition horror story and sets the tone for today's madness...muggles get ready to get a taste at what performers go through on a daily basis as well as some unhinged moments from Tene & her guests.
