Coming off of the "Protect the Black Woman" series, my brother Shayne Odum and I hopped on my pod to discuss unlearning things older males whether father, uncles, or brothers taught (or didn't teach) black men in general about dating. We also discuss men and women not looking for a "father" or "mother" in a potential girlfriend, or boyfriend. Sometimes, you and that individual are meant to be friends and nothing more; something we also discuss on part 1 of this episode. Unlearning and doing the work is another way of how black men/women can protect one another from each other in the dating space.
