Padma Shri awardee Dr. Subhash Kak is an Indian-American computer scientist, theoretical physicist, historian, Indologist, Vedic scholar, linguist, philosopher, and poet. He is Regents Professor and Head of Computer Science Department at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.
