Rory ends up in a car accident and Lorelai goes full mama bear, blames Jess for everything short of global warming, and basically kicks him out of town with her rage alone. Goodbye, Jess. You were too punk for Stars Hollow.

Meanwhile, Rory’s the town’s golden child, so obviously nothing could’ve been her fault. Dean returns just in time to read Rory’s “So I Crashed the Car With Jess” letter, and he’s chill? Luke goes fishing, while the entire town acts like Jess was a teenage demon sent to destroy their precious Rory.
