The trick is to identify these triggers so we are aware of them before they disrupt our relationships. Triggers could be things like not feeling seen or heard, not feeling respected or valued, or not feeling loved. Some of these feelings are generated from our childhood. Therefore, it's essential to separate our current situation from past painful experiences.
