While three people were submerged at Stump Town, twelve dissimilar Long Island radio broadcasts were interrupted, including Z100— a favorite Katy Perry-centric music station among all phys-ed teachers. Instead of tuning in to hear a remix of Cheerleader, Long Islanders switched on their radios to hear static, and then, a broadcast listeners later described as “bizarre,” “weird,” and “strange.” What did they hear?
