In this episode of Kayla Can Talk, I share a spoken word I wrote at 19 called ‘200 Up.’ It’s a piece born out of “struggle”, surrender, and the scriptures of crowns casted down, Paul’s contentment in all seasons, and the promise that the righteous rise again.
I not only recite the poem, but also break down the Word hidden in its lines. Because even when I didn’t fully understand at 19, God was planting truth in me: setbacks become lessons, comebacks are possible, and every step forward counts as a blessing.
200 Up is a reminder that we can be down, but never defeated because with God, we always rise.
Proverbs 24:16 says “For. Righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.”
It’s time to get up!
