In this episode I share a familiar story from John 5 that I am seeing through fresh eyes.

When it comes to the promises of God, I want them all instantly. But God wants them for us permanently. So in His kindness He made us one with Jesus.

There is a permanence to our newness because we are now permanently ********one with Christ. And so all of life here on earth is about discovering and experiencing who we actually are in Him. And it goes beyond just a one-time result or outcome — it’s a continuous overcoming in every arena of life.
