I Am Exploring And Searching for Beauty and Meaning

I dreamt last night that I was walking down a road, pulling a little red wagon.  The skies were overcast and the feel of rain was heavy in the air.  I wanted to dig up some Firecracker plants to take home to my garden, but most of them seemed scraggly and frail.  I heard a voice that suggested I take a couple of the healthier ones and also take along the soil that the plants would need to survive.

 

I scooped up huge handfuls of dark red soil that was soft and moist and put it in the wagon.  I felt that other nutrients would be needed and started looking closely at the surrounding landscape for other colours that I could add.  As I gathered the handfuls of soft clay, of various colours, I noticed that the soil was getting harder and harder to scoop up.

 

My attention was diverted to the fact that the sun was coming out and everything was taking on a more concrete form.  The sun was so radiant that I felt lost in basking in the glory of it and no longer was concerned about the garden, the plants nor the soil.

 

The dream was so real and so easily remembered, even later in the day, that I thought is must be a message.  My interpretation was that I am seeking the beautiful light, the celebration of life and this was symbolized by the Firecracker flower.  To reach this level of beauty required searching for the components that would make it possible, such as the knowledge from all of the differing sources that I am currently exploring.  The coming of the sun, was the end of the search, and was far more glorious than the light of fireworks against a blackened sky.

 

The search did not lead to the sunshine but rather it came unexpectedly while I was on the quest.  Only time will tell if this be prophecy or fantasy.

 

I've been writing my story since I was able to write, but when the media goes to share it, they only choose the parts that fit their idea of what will generate views.  If I'm going to share my story, it should be the whole story.  The titles are the dates things happened. I know there will be people who take things out of context and try to use them to validate their own misconception, but you have access to the whole story.  My hope is that others will recognize themselves in my words and have the strength to do what is right for themselves and our shared planet.
