Porsche, uncharacteristically, is putting the emphasis on the 911 Turbo's fuel economy, saying in a statement that it "continues to create more from less." However, the car's actual fuel economy remains a mystery, since neither Porsche nor the EPA have released any official numbers. The EPA says the 2009 Porsche 911 Turbo with a five-speed automatic transmission returns 15 miles per gallon in city driving and 23 mpg on the highway.
