2012-2: Charley Ellis - What Should a CIO Do in 2013?

Mr. Ellis is the Founder of Greenwich Associates Former Chair of Yale University's Investment Committee. He is a longtime
consultant on investing to large institutional investors, government organizations, and wealthy families, and he is a prolific writer on investment topics.
He serves as Chair of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, where is heads the Investment Committee. He is also a trustee
of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and chairs the Finance Committee. Mr. Ellis' professional career centered on three decades with
Greenwich Associates, a strategy consulting firm he founded in 1972. He has taught at Harvard, Yale, and Princeton and has served on the
Investment Committee at Yale. Mr. Ellis has authored or co-authored 16 books, and he served two terms as governor of the CFA Institute.
He holds an undergraduate degree from Yale, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a Ph.D. from New York University.
