2012-3: Paul Espie - What Happened to My Supercycle?

Mr. Espie is the Investment Director Pacific Road Capital Management. He established Pacific Road Group (PRG), a
Sydney-based boutique investment bank focusing on resources and infrastructure transactions, in 1986. He has played guiding roles in
numerous mining and infrastructure ventures, among them serving as Chairman of Oxiana Limited (now OZ Minerals) during its acquisition
and development of the Sepon copper/gold deposit in Laos (2000 to 2003). Prior to that, he was Chairman of Cobar Mines Pty Ltd following
a management buyout of the Cobar copper mine in New South Wales in 1993. Before founding PRG, Mr. Espie was Senior Vice President at
Bank of America Australia. He is currently Chairman of the listed Australian Infrastructure Fund Ltd., which focuses on airports. Mr. Espie is a
former Chairman of the Australian Merchant Bankers Association and is currently a member of the Australian Committee of the Eisenhower
Exchange Foundation and a Trustee of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Educational Endowment Fund. He holds a BS from
Monash University and an MBA from Melbourne Business School.
