Remembering Our Lord

The purpose of communion is to remember our Lord Jesus. When we meet together to celebrate the Lord”s Supper our attention should be on Him, for He is its center. There are may traditions built around the supper, but its essence must remain – remembering Jesus our Lord. To forget Him is to forget who we are and why we gather.
