Adrian Harewood was the Station Manager at CKUT from 1997-2000. He was a McGill student graduating in 1993 whereby he moved to Ottawa to get involved in Community radio there at CKCU and then came to Montreal to take on the daunting task of being the station manager at CKUT. He currently anchors the 6 o clock news on CBC-TV in Ottawa.

This is the speech he made for CKUT’s 25th Anniversary at Sala Rossa in Montreal 2013. Adrian had to jump on a bus from Ottawa to make it to the event and unfortunately arrived when the party was “lit” and so was all the participants!

Ever since Adrian left CKUT, the station has been collectively managed by a combination of staff members and volunteers.
