Book of Mark

Text: Mark 12:35-40

 Following His encounter with the lone scribe, Jesus brings His teachings in the temple of the religious leaders and the people to a close.  Jesus makes it clear that, contrary to the commonly held belief that the Messiah was merely a man, instead the Messiah was divine; not merely a son of David, but the Lord of David.  It is the final call to repentance for the religious leaders and once again Jesus uses the Word of God, speaking the truth in love.
