Fate of the Florida Panther and Murder Suicide Threat Howie, Jen Leon and I are driving to Ft. Lauderdale today for the FWC meeting tomorrow about the fate of the Florida Panther. I wrote Barry an old school chum from the days of Florida College Academy: “I’m presenting in Ft Lauderdale to the FWC on the Florida Panther but will compare calendars when I get back Thursday. Had to hire off duty cops as body guards both here and in Tampa as one of the crazies has threatened a murder suicide, starring me, tomorrow. I just don't know if he's planning to try and catch me at the FWC meeting or if he's planning to cause trouble at the sanctuary, knowing Howie and/or I'll be here. I just heard that Scott Smith’s in BAD health, so make that call sooner than later. “
