The world we are living in today is a consequence of the decision of Adam. It is not the plan of God. Adam decided to hide rather than face God after his disobediance. He is not the only one. We all make the decision to hade rather than face God.

The devil is always there to remind you of your sin.

When we hide, it takes us away from God. Farther and farther each time we disobey. Then the devil can do what he wants with you. When we repent, it brings us closer to God.
