I'm copying LaWanna too because there seems to be some confusion and she has to deal with so many others who want us to promote their channels which compete with our own.
When I saw your feeding video I thought people would love it and asked if we could share it. I should have thought that through better because we typically don't share photos or videos from others who are using our cats as their subjects, other than an occasional exception; like UNILAD doing a remake of our stuff.
The YouTube channels: /bigcatrescue and /dailybigcat make money for our cats. About $100k a year, so building those channels helps us care for the cats. Same goes for the Facebook.com/bigcatrescue "channel" as it generates even more for the cats each year.
Every view we send off to you, or anyone else, is money that isn't going to the cats.
I understand, and encourage people to build their own brands, but they need to do that on their own, without diminishing the Big Cat Rescue brand.
Hi, I’m Carole Baskin and I’ve been writing my story since I was able to write, but when the media goes to share it, they only choose the parts that fit their idea of what will generate views. These are my views and opinions. If I'm going to share my story, it should be the whole story. The titles are the dates things happened. I know there will be people who take things out of context and try to use them to validate their own misconception, but you have access to the whole story. My hope is that others will recognize themselves in my words and have the strength to do what is right for themselves and our shared planet.
