Joe burned the records, gave away the cats and is on the run

Howie learned last night that Joe Screibvogel and John Reinke tossed the offices at the GW Zoo and after secreting away several boxes at Joe’s mother’s house, he burned the rest so that Jeff Lowe couldn’t have it.  He reportedly gave away ALL of his lions, tigers, ligers, primates and every other animal at the zoo, rather than let Jeff Lowe profit from them.  And now he’s on the run.

 

The USFWS says they were able to get the telephone recording they had been trying to capture for months that will put Joe away for “murder for hire” in their words.  They said they hope to be able to arrest and indict him within a week, if they can find him.  They are going to S.C. and some other places to interrogate witnesses to the murder (mine) for hire scheme.  I don’t know how planning a murder gets someone jailed; especially given Joe’s propensity to lie and say he’s just doing all the evil things he does for “entertainment” value.

 

Word on the street is that Jeff Lowe is $89,000 in arrears to his attorneys, and we have a trial set for mid August so some of this may resolve by then.  Jeff’s attorneys want out so we may go through another delay when he appeals to the court to give him time to find new council.  Oklahoma has to be running out of stupid attorneys who don’t bother to find out the last dozen before them were stiffed.

 

Joe has been using Beth Corley’s USDA license to transfer all of these cats out to other places, and as I suspected, she had no idea he still had her license.  USDA is to blame for most of this because they know they haven’t seen her in a decade and they just auto renew every year as long as the paperwork comes in with the fee which had to be coming from Joe and the zoo’s account.  Despite that and the hundreds of citations and complaints pending against him, they just keep letting him breed, exploit, kill, maim and trade in endangered species because they don’t want to admit there is a problem.

 

Joe blames me for losing everything, so if he does kill me, I hope my family sues USDA for failing to do their job.  If they actually regulated the bad guys, I wouldn’t have to risk my life to raise awareness about the misdeeds of these criminals that cause so much suffering.
