Howie’s Financial Report to the Finance Committee
Attached please find our 9 month year over year comparison. We are having a record year.
Donations are up $320k largely due to two new large donors ($105k and $25K) and the Facebook fundraisers supporters initiate and the donate button on our Facebook live broadcasts.
The number of visitors is only up 2% but revenue is up $93k partly due to a price increase implemented late last year and due to a push to do more of our higher priced keeper tours and private tours.
Rental income is up $80k.
Total expenses are up only 2% with some up, some down.
The result is YTD net of $870k, with only $21k in bequests, vs $383k this time last year, up $487k.
With less than $200k in capital expenditures this year so far, most of this has gone to increase our cash position to $3.5 million.
