To prepare your hearts for what we'll be unpacking this week, I want to encourage you to read Matthew 4:1-11.

Here’s what’s coming up...

· Don’t forget to unite with me in prayer tonight @ 6pm as we cover myself, our staff and our church in prayer during our series on spiritual warfare. So, set aside a few minutes wherever you may be to pray for God’s protection and our growth in Jesus.

· Tonight, November 2nd, we are sponsoring a great event for all of our moms but especially for our single moms. It's called, "The Life and Times of Five Single Moms". This will be put on by the "Single Moms Thrive Ministry" that we partner with. Come and hear the stories of 5 incredible women, ranging in age from 70 - 90, as they share about how they raised their kids. Discover how they persevered and the glue that held the family together. It will be from 6:30 - 8:00pm.

· Don't forget to pick up your sponsor slips and sign-up for the packing party on November 17th for Operation Christmas Child.

· Tomorrow you will also have the opportunity to help with supplying food for Thanksgiving Families as we partner once again with Lewisville Elementary School.

· Our Middle School and High Schoolers will be going to the "Youth Inc. Chicken Stew" from 3:30-7pm. See Tori for all the details.

As I mention every week, these are great opportunities to be reaching out to family, friends, co-workers, actually, anyone you meet and invite them to join you on this incredible journey that God is taking us on.
