In this week's episode of Aligned & Ambitious Radio, I am going to talk with you guys about what the last 12 months in my business have looked like, and explain the progressive levels of growth that it has undergone.

 

“(At) the beginning of the year, it seemed that this moment right now was super, super far away. I wanted to really just give you like a month by month, play by play on what happened, how I got here, how everything kind of fell together.”

 

Throughout the episode, I will talk about my entire journey and detail the things that transpired from when I first started in August 2018 up until recently, in 2019 which is my first full year in my business. To say that it was a good year would be an understatement, as it was more than that on many levels.

It was in 2019 that my brand did over one hundred thousand dollars in sales, finally surpassed the six-figure mark, and my company officially became an LLC, which is really exciting. 

However, I will be the first to say that entrepreneurship is not a linear journey by any means. Often, we think that it is only a series of steps that subsequently elevate and stack on top of each other. When in reality, the road ahead is filled with these jagged lines all throughout, without a fast track lane going to the top.

 

What you can do is have a firm mindset to keep taking the next step forward. You will reach Point B from Point A eventually, all you need to know is the next step, and then figure out the next one from there. You don’t even need to know what is going to happen 6 months from now, you just need to be present in the current season and moment of your life.
