In some areas of your life that might be serving you really well, but when it comes to emotional eaters, bingers, overeaters or those of you with an emotional attachment to food, all-or-nothing thinking is putting pressure on you and putting you unintentionally into either you being "good" or "perfect" or "following the plan to the T" OR you're being "a disaster" or "failing" or "terrible".
This total success or total failure mentality is what all-or-nothing thinking can do.
If the only alternative you’re willing to consider is a success OR failure in the area you struggle in, then when do you get to learn, grow, and move through challenges - if you have all-or-nothing thinking, you simply can only be on one side or the other and in this case, learning, growing and transforming is the name of the game!
