2020-02-02 - Finding Hope in the Struggles of Life - Week 04

Hey Westside...

Guess what God did? He blew us away again. Another full house, more new people, and an incredible worship service. It’s going to be so exciting to see what He has in store for us this Sunday.

This week we will continue unpacking Psalm 23 as we look at the last part of verse 3, “He guides me along the right paths for His namesake.” Now, this tells me 2 things; first of all, there is a right path that we are to be on and secondly, it’s not about us but it’s about Him. He’s the one who is supposed to get all the glory. I can’t wait to unpack this short phrase with you this Sunday morning.

Here’s what’s happening at Westside...

· Our new “Community Group” begins this Sunday morning February 2nd @ 9am. If you haven’t got plugged into a group yet, this would be a great one to start with.

· Our “Tuesday Night Ladies Bible” will be meeting this coming Tuesday night at 6:45pm. There’s still room for you to get plugged in.

· WS Students: Every Wednesday for the next 6 weeks, we will travel as a youth group to join Jefferson, Poplar Springs, & First Christian youth groups for a Wednesday night service. It will be fun games and a short lesson about the Grow devotions we are going through. We will leave Westside @ 6:30 PM and return between 8:30 PM.

· There’s still time to get plugged into one of our other “Community Groups” as well. Besides our new one, we have one that meets right after the morning service at the back of the worship center and a Wednesday night group that meets at the church at 6:30pm.

I look forward to worshipping with each and every one of you this Sunday. Let’s do our best to pack out Westside and don’t forget to reach out and bring someone with you.
