2020-03-29 - Blessed Broken Given - Week 01
As a Pastor, this is uncharted territory for me and we are doing our best to try and stay connected as a church family and we'll try to come up with more ways for us to do that as the days and weeks move forward.
So with that said, one of the things that I've been wresting with is what to share with you on Sundays. So far, I've followed God's leading and I hope that it's been a blessing to you. But, the last 2 days, God's been leading me back to a sense of normalcy. I think, it's as much for me as it is for you.
So, God lead me to a series that the "Village Church" did that was created from Glenn Packiam's new book, Blessed Broken Given and I will begin this series this Sunday morning March 29th.
Here's a preview...
"Throughout Scripture, we discover that nothing is as common as it seems, not even bread. On the night that He was handed over to suffer and die, He took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to His disciples as a picture of His body being given for the life of the world. Over the next 4-weeks, we’ll discover how our story becomes sacred in the hands of Jesus, we’ll discover that life, like bread, isn’t as ordinary as it may seem."
I'm looking forward to sharing this with you starting this Sunday.
