So, how's 2020 been going for you? If you're anything like Pastors Jimmy and Kim Witcher, the first six months of this year have been a season of crazy circumstances and a LOT of emotion. Back in January, the Lord gave Pastor Jimmy a prophetic word that this would be a tumultuous decade. From COVID 19 and a national quarantine, to Murder Hornets, and the current outrage over racial injustice in our nation—it seems that everyone has faced a shaking! While God isn't the one who caused the events of 2020, he is definitely using them for his purposes. God is bringing us back to center as HIS Church—one united family! As the Lord continues to shine a light on injustice in our nation, he is beginning that work with the church. Jimmy and Kim help us to see that through this process we don't have to be defeated but can instead be excited to see that God is doing something good. Like Romans 8:28 says, "God causes everything to work together for the GOOD of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." Friends, we are called to his purposes! And even though the world is not going back to the way things were, as the church WE WERE MADE FOR THIS! And, the best is yet to come as we improvise, adapt, and OVERCOME.
