2020 Week 11 - Avengers Assemble, and the virus

• The avengers will assemble at Disney’s California Adventure on July 18th which was announced as the opening day for their new Avengers Campus and the new dark ride named Web Slingers: a Spider-Man Adventure.

• Disneyland resort is closing from tomorrow 14th March through to the end of the month due to the Coronavirus, following instructions from the California Governor.

• Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris will close their parks at the end of Sunday. Disney has also suspended their Cruise Line.

• Universal Hollywood is closing from the 14th through to the 28th of March. This come after they postponed their Peacock Live Hard Ticket event which was meant to occur on 28th and 29th of March.

• Universal Orlando is closing  at the close of business of Sunday as well.

• Tokyo Disney and Universal Japan have extended their closures from the Coronavirus until at least early April.

• In contrast, Disneyland Shanghai Resort has started a phased reopening, with the hotel and select shopping and dining venues opening this week.

• Busch Gardens much anticipated retracted coaster Iron Gwazi has had its new track completed this week.

• Sea World San Diego’s Emperor coaster has had its first test run this week.

• Movie producer Jason Blum of Blumhouse has raised the possibility of a future Halloween Horror Nights Movie being developed.

• Universal Orlando Announced a limited time 2 night for the price of one deal for this years HHN.

• Knott's Berry Farm hosted a media event for their up coming Boysenberry Festival, which was scheduled to start March 20th, but will likely be postponed.
