# This Week : The past …

For some it’s a rose-coloured bowl of cherries we don’t want to leave,

For others it is a bed of pain and sorrow we find it hard to let go of.

For the people of God, Haggai had a question about the “glory” of the past. He asks “does it not seem to you now as nothing?”

How we respond to the past can affect how we live in the present and, ultimately, how successful our future will become. Today Julian looks at the second message from Haggai and consider God’s encouragement and challenge to the people of God.
