There is sufficient research that points to negative mood and poor food choice selection. Yep, that’s right, it’s the negative emotions that can really set off the cascade of cravings for sugary and fatty foods. Maybe it’s comfort foods from your childhood, or that pint of your favorite ice cream, or (my personal favorite) a bag of salty tortilla chips. Whatever the choice, our emotions and our food choices can be intimately linked. Never fear, though, that’s where a plan comes into play.
